A workshop led by Ho Li-Ching, Associate Professor of Political Science, Department of Curriculum and Instruction, at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
This workshop draws on the most recent and relevant education research on how to conduct effective classroom discussions for diverse learners. The workshop will focus on helping faculty and instructors build an inclusive and open classroom environment for students, design small-group and whole-class discussions that are aligned to pedagogical goals, and address ethical and professional dilemmas related to classroom discussion.
